The Fujifilm X-M5 Field School

A complete, honest course for the FUJIFILM X-M5 and its XC15-45mm kit lens: 54 lessons from unboxing to confident, with every setting named exactly as the camera names it. Free, open, no sign-in.

What this course is

A complete beginner-to-confident path for one specific camera and one specific lens. Every setting is named exactly as it appears in the X-M5’s menus, every recommendation says why, and every claim about how the camera behaves is traceable to Fujifilm’s own documentation.

It is built around two questions you will actually ask: “what does this setting do?” and “what should I use in this situation, and why?” The manual answers the first. This course answers both, and it is honest about the limits of the kit — the missing viewfinder, the absent stabiliser, the variable aperture — because working with them is the skill.

Work through it in order, or jump to the module you need. Progress is tracked in your browser, nothing is locked, and there is no account to create.
